Thomas Muller has moved to Vancouver Whitecaps. The 35-year-old midfielder previously left Bayern as a free agent.
The German signed a contract with the MLS club until the end of the 2025 season, for 2026 there is an option according to which Muller will be registered under the Designated Player Rule (Sports). The rule allows each MLS club predictions by football life style news to sign players who will not be subject to the established salary cap.
The Whitecaps acquired the rights (Discovery Priority - Sports``) to Mueller from Cincinnati in exchange for $200, 000 in distribution funds in the 2025 season and $100, 000 in the 2026 season, as well as a conditional $100, 000 in the 2026 season.
