Russian final in Tashkent
The Russian Margarita Gasparyan and Anastasia Potapova (pictured) will play for the title of the WTA International Tennis Series in Tashkent (Uzbekistan) with a prize pool of 250, 000 dollars. Casparian eliminated German semi-finals Mona Barthel with 4:6, 6:1, 7:5 after two hours of play. The 24-year-old player lost the first set with a single break in the tenth game, but in the second part he dominated and hurried up. She pulled 4:1 in the third set, but with two consecutive breaks Barthel turned to 5:4 and served for the match. There is a new turn and with a series of three games the Russian triumphs.
