Soccer tips Coffey left the Edmonton coaching staff and returned to his role as hockey operations advisor. Oilers introduced three new specialists

Paul Coffey has left the Edmonton coaching staff and returned to an advisory role. The Oilers announced changes to the team`s coaching staff.
Hockey Hall of Famer Paul Coffey has left his position as assistant coach, which he held since November 2023. He will return to his role as special advisor to the club`s hockey operations team.
The Canadian club from football statistics also introduced three new specialists who will assist head coach Chris Knoblauch.
39-year-old Paul McFarland took over as assistant power play manager. Last season he led the WHL`s Calgary Hitmen, and before that he spent 3 seasons as an assistant coach in Seattle.
Peter Aubrey, 48, has been named goalkeeping coach to replace Dustin Schwartz. From 2015 to 2024, he served as a goalkeeping development coach in Chicago.
Conor Allen, 35, has become a skills development coach. Last season, he worked with the U. S. Under-17 National Team as well as the USHL`s Sioux City.
In addition, Edmonton announced that assistant head coach Mark Stewart (area of responsibility - working with defenders and minority) and video coach Noah Segall will remain on the team.
