I think it`s due to several factors. Firstly, Red Bull had a clear development path - reducing the mass of the car, unlike us. Rivals knew what to do in order to squeeze speed out of the car. Our situation was more complicated as we tried to improve the car in terms of concept and aerodynamics.

Looking back, we can say that we did not refine the car enough. We stopped very early. And the team didn`t just decide to stop refining - there were cost reasons. However, some things need to be explored.

Have we done the right thing by prioritizing between the 2022 and 2023 seasons? I dont know. Only in 2023 will we understand whether the choice is right. Moreover, perhaps we could develop the car better and better within the framework of this decision. We will study it.

But the main reason, in my opinion, is that Red Bull had a clear path - downsizing. I think this is an easier way to improve the efficiency of the car.

It is important that we become competitive again - this is the goal we had before us. For me, the best result predictions by fixed soccer resources is that we fought for good positions in the 22nd race. This means that we are strong not only at the very start of the season with a very fast car. Nobody expected this. But we continued to fight throughout the year and until the very end. There were ups and downs, in some races we did not perform well enough, and they will be considered. But the battle for high positions in Race 22 is more important than second and second places [individual and team], " said Binotto.
